Endothelial injury and microvascular occlusion result in Raynaud’s phenomenon, finger ischemia, pulmonary hypertension, and scleroderma renal crisis. Scleroderma itself is a rare disease with an incidence ranging from 0.1 to 14 per 100,000 people in the general population. Cerebral involvement is not considered a common manifestation of systemic sclerosis, although studies have shown that the brain can be involved. Therefore, to deepen the understanding of this disease, we herein report a case of cerebral infarction associated with systemic sclerosis.
