The results indicated that only clustering coefficient correlated significantly with dMRI metrics, specifically NODDI metrics. The results from non-normalized NODDI data suggest that clustering coefficient is altered by the degree of orientation dispersion and neurite density (Figure 9 ). Low orientation dispersion or neurite density correlates with high clustering. We observed this relationship in the splenium (NDI: p = 0.006; ODI: p = 0.04), hippocampus (NDI: p = 0.004; ODI: p = 0.004), and cerebral peduncle (NDI: p = 0.0008) (Figure 9 ) but found no significant correlations in genu and anterior commissure (data not shown). The fimbria showed a nonsignificant trend (NDI: p = 0.05).
