Document: In this study we demonstrate a model-based approach to determining priorities for acquiring new information based on the potential value of this information in reducing critical uncertainties relevant to COVID-19 decision-making over short-and medium-term. We fit an age-structured compartmental model to reported cases in the San Francisco Bay Area, forecast a range of possible epidemic trajectories consistent with available information, and then demonstrate how additional information about the impact of NPIs or the fraction of all infections that are confirmed positive would impact case predictions.
