The increased intracellular ROS in turn lead to activation of HRI, which then 396 phosphorylates eIF2α at serine residues 48 and 51 leading to general translation 397 repression and downstream activation of the integrated stress response. In order to mature 398 and become activated, HRI has to be in a complex with CDC37, PPP5C, and HSP90.
