Moreover, the risks associated with COVID-19 are unknown. Previous studies suggested that individuals over the age of 60 or with underlying health conditions, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease and cancer, are at highest risk of severe disease and death (Verity et al., 2020). Long-term exposure to air pollutants has been shown as a risk factor mediating the pathogenesis of these health conditions 6 .
