Document: In December, 2019, COVID-19 broke out in Wuhan and subsequently reached other provinces/regions of China and other countries. The number of confirmed cases in China has increased rapidly. The article aimed to further clarify the epidemiological characteristics of COVID-19. This research collected information on demographic characteristics, exposure history, onset time, confirmation time, symptoms and case type of confirmed cases from the official websites. It made descriptive statistics on these data and draw a trend chart through using SPSS 25.0, The result is that the COVID-19 infection was of clustering onset, the age range of confirmed cases is wide. Among the 1215 patients with confirmed NCP, The average age was 45.5 years and the highest frequency ranged from 40 to 49 years, with an effective share of 24.5% (298). 30.7% (372) of patients were epidemiology related. The time intervals from onset time to confirmation time is mainly 0-4 days, which was 50.6% (615). 72.3% (879) of case type were local cases. Different ages differed in the type of case. The imported cases and local cases of 0-19 years differed little, but the difference of 30-69 were large. © 2021 IEEE.
