Document: Background: Digital medicine describes a field concerned with the use of technologies as tools for measurement, and intervention in the service of human health. Digital medicine products are driven by high-quality hardware and software that support the practice of medicine broadly, including treatment, recovery, disease prevention, and health promotion for individuals and across populations. Digital medicine products can be used independently or in concert with pharmaceuticals, biologics, devices, or other products to optimize patient care and health outcomes. Digital medicine empowers patients and healthcare providers with intelligent and accessible tools to address a wide range of conditions through high-quality, safe, and effective measurements and data-driven interventions. As a discipline, digital medicine encapsulates both broad professional expertise and responsibilities concerning the use of these digital tools. Digital medicine focuses on evidence-generation to support the use of these technologies. In the digital era of medicine, a number of processes, best practices, and ethical norms have started to shift as we learn how to develop trustworthy technologies. Methods: Medic Assistant is the digital cloud solution supporting healthcare personnel in its everyday work with patients. The core of the system is an intuitive and responsive online application that helps to manage patients, their examinations, and images taken during the examination. It provides users with multilevel communication channels based on eg. doctor doctor, doctor patient relationships. Results: Collected data are cleared from sensitive information in terms of GDPR regulations and stored in cloud databases. The internationalization of Medic Assistant is so far made by two enabled languages: English and Polish. However, the system was designed to allow adding new translations easily and without any technical skills. The structure of stored data and access to them are designed to be easily utilized by any Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning system. The main results of Medic Assistant is to create an ecosystem where data are collected by healthcare personnel society. The ability to use them in order to create new IT solutions is open to any innovators. Conclusions: Digital solutions and medical innovations supporting the fight against the coronavirus, in the reality of overburdened health care, have become widely used almost overnight. Medic Assistant is a application for monitoring skin cancers as well as the effects of undesirable oncological drugs. Medic Assistant improves the two-way communication of the diagnostician-doctor-patient.
