In addition, TXNIP-mediated NLRP3 inflammasome pathway target protein expression was significantly elevated in livers of fasting Gm15441 LSL mice compared to Gm15441 +/+ mice. These results support the proposal that pharmacological and physiological upregulation of lncRNA Gm15441 prevents metabolic stress by suppressing the TXNIP-mediated NLRP3 inflammasome pathway.
