A Feira-livre Da Agricultura Familiar De Venda Nova Do Imigrante/es Em Tempos De Covid-19: a Percepção Protagonista Dos Feirantes

ABSTRACT The paper analyzes the perception and commercialization strategies of production adopted by the workers of the street fair Venda Nova do Imigrante before the containment measures of Covid-19 by the city government. With human vulnerability to the pandemic, the city has preventively suspended the local operation of the street fair, opening the delivery modality, enabling continuity of commercialization with adequacy, as well as the use of public policy tickets to promote family farming. After prior dialogue with representatives of the street fair Administration, it was held the contact with the survey subjects (members of the Street Fair Association) to forward questions and get answers by mobile application. Foi somente nos anos 1990, após décadas de lutas de associaçöes e movimentos sociais no campo, que a categoria, nao obstante intersticios e discrepantes investimentos, passou a constar significativamente na agenda do governo federal para implementaçao de políticas públicas, a exemplo do Programa Nacional de Fortalecimento da Agricultura Familiar (Pronaf), criado em 1996 (Brasil, 1996).
