The PNT task group was matched, using case-control matching, on the aphasia severity of the CS task group. To directly evaluate behavioral distribution of paraphasias, we evaluated a subgroup of the CS task group, which we have called the CS+PNT subgroup because members of this group had both a connected speech and naming assessment. Notably, members of this group were not included in the PNT task group, as we created the CS and PNT task groups (for VLSM analysis) to be mutually exclusive. .
