The PfCRT dataset used here comprises 16,905 particle images of PfCRT in lipid nanodisc with a Fab bound, imaged with a 0.5175Ã… pixel size. It is available publicly as EMPIAR-10330 [15] . An early version of the non-uniform refinement algorithm was essential for reconstructing the published high resolution density map, into which a molecular model was built and from which biological insights were drawn [15] .
