Total cellular RNA was isolated by TRIzol reagent (Invitrogen) from 200 µl transport medium. RT-PCR was conducted in LightCycler 480 (Roche) by mixing 17 µl PCR solution A, 3 µl PCR solution B and 5 µl sample RNA in one tube. A positive control was used to determine the positivity of the samples.
