Comprehensive respiratory rehabilitation interventions for patients are essential to minimize disability rate, reduce medical costs, and increase social participation. Integrated the existing treatment experience and relevant literature evidence, we recommend the evaluation and intervention of respiratory rehabilitation in the two stages of discharge ICUto ward and home. Based on Chinese experience, a PCCM physician-led multidisciplinary team management process was constructed. Personal protection recommendations were made based on the potential risk of infection among critically ill COVID-19 survivors.
