Document: We proposed a straightforward method for evaluating the temporal dependence of spread of COVID-19 disease. The analysis of the data indicate several features, namely the high predictability of the expansion of disease in Italy and a convergence of the "pushback" parameter towards a limiting value in all the countries where restrictive measures are applied. Predictions of the evolution of the spread of the disease are made for three countries that appear to be on a predictable trajectory in the parametric space of the model, namely for Italy, France, and Czechia.
