Document: In the proposed paper we will present the results of a short study conducted by our research unit (Human Resources Development’ URDRH Sétif University 2- Algeria) whose purpose is to determine the various mental health risk factors that may be causing (COVID-19) among doctors and nurses care workers in Algeria;in order to deduce prevention strategies. The present study took into account in the sample the variables of age, sex, medical specialty, and seniority by following the descriptive method, and the study adopted the mental health scale SCL 90-R [1]. Which was applied to a sample of 200 doctor and nurse from all from some Algerian department;Sétif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Constantine, Algiers, Tizi Ouzou and Batna. Finally, the results showed that caregivers, including doctors and nurses, the during coronavirus pandemic, of both sexes and those with more than 10 years of experience in the field that they suffer from psychological imbalances at the level of: Physical symptoms such as chronic fatigue and insomnia.Compulsive obsession that appear in various fears of transmission even in a safe place.Reactive sensitivity and disruption of good communication with others.Depressive states of Due to their inability to provide health care for difficult cases of the pandemic.Anxiety about continuing to the pandemic situation for a long time.Phobias and fears of transmitting the infection to their families.Hostility, paranoia and psychosis. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
