Data were presented as median (interquartile range; IQR) if non-normally distributed and as mean (standard deviation; SD) if normally distributed. Categorical variables were presented as n (%). Kruskal-Wallis analysis, Chi-square test, and one-way analysis of variance were used for multiple group comparisons according to data characteristics. Bivariate correlation was calculated using Pearson or Spearman method as appropriate to detect the potential risk factors for AMI. In all analyses, two-tailed p-values of <0.05 were considered significant.
