The IoT (Internet of Things) is the internet functioning of substantial machine, vehicles and other stuffs which consists of an embedded system with sensors, actuators and network connectivity that enable to collect and exchange data. Now all focus on body-centric communication technology, which integrates antennas and radio frequency (RF) systems (0.5–12 GHz) into clothes. These systems are developed with regard to size reduction, ease of integration and cost effectiveness as in COVID 19 situations. Body-centric applications are mainly focused in promoting personal communications, keeping track of body parameters like temperature, heartbeat, etc. and also to monitor people. Among several body-centric applications, monitoring people has become very popular wherein monitoring and protecting mentally challenged people has got a spot light. Our society is in need of monitoring mentally challenged especially the females and the children from becoming a victim of trafficking, as in these days trafficking has grown to a greater extent. At present COVID 19 situations without visiting the hospital, doctors can able to trace the medical record of the patients by connecting with wearable devices such as pulse oximeter which can be connected through IoT. At the point when issues with social significance are being tended to, the arrangements/frameworks produced for those issues must be moderate. Subsequently the need of great importance is to build up an IoT based streamlined body-driven wearable reception apparatus to screen and shield the simple-minded and ensure them if there should be an occurrence of crises like military dangerous tasks, woman trafficking and so forth, so as to encourage the continuous following of radio wire an IoT based wearable Antenna module has been fused. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
