Snippet: We hereby present epidemiological models for the spread of COVID-19 in India. Most of pandemics follow an exponential curve during the initial spread and eventually flatten out [7] . The current models are thus based on an exponential fit and logistic regression for short term and long term predictions, respectively. Document: We hereby present epidemiological models for the spread of COVID-19 in India. Most of pandemics follow an exponential curve during the initial spread and eventually flatten out [7] . The current models are thus based on an exponential fit and logistic regression for short term and long term predictions, respectively. Further, in the latter case, Susceptible-Infectious-Recovered (SIR) compartment model [8] is used to include considerations for susceptibles, infectious, and recovered or deceased individuals. These models have shown a significant predictive ability for the growth of COVID-19 in India on a day-to-day basis so far.
