The mean age was 31·0±4.3 years in the pregnant group (n = 31) and 32·9±4·8 in the non-pregnant group (n = 35). Among them, 14 (21·2%) patients were aged 35-40 years (advanced maternal age). Five (14·3%) non-pregnant patients were previously infected with hepatitis B virus, and 3 out of 31 pregnant patients reported a medical history of gestational hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular disease, separately (Table S1 ). There was no history of other diseases in these patients.
