Snippet: We aimed to investigate whether hospitalizations of patients who tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVIDâ€19) antibodies are associated with reduced inâ€hospital mortality. Of the 2459 patients admitted due to COVIDâ€19 and tested for antibodies, 937 (38.1%) had positive tests. After adjustment for patient characteristics and treatments, patients with positive COVIDâ€19 antibody test had lower inâ€hospital mortality compared with those with negative test results (odds ratio [OR]

After adjustment for patient characteristics and treatments, patients with positive COVIDâ€19 antibody test had lower inâ€hospital mortality compared with those with negative test results (odds ratio [OR]: 0.62; 95% confidential interval [95% CI] 0.46–0.83, p = 0.001). In conclusion, positive COVIDâ€19 antibody test results were associated with the reduced risk of inâ€hospital mortality for COVIDâ€19 patients.
