Document: The strength of this study is that it is the first study to evaluate the knowledge, practice and sociodemographic variables associated with poor knowledge and practice of preventive measures against coronavirus infection among pregnant mothers in a low-resource setting. These associated factors of poor practice were determined using bivariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis. These statistical methods are appropriate and efficient method for determining associations between dependent and independent variables. Despite these strengths, this study has a limitation. It is a single centre study which limits the generalization of the study findings to the study area. A multicentre study would have been ideal.
