Document: As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds, we continue to understand the clinical manifestations of this infection. It was initially assumed that the effects of this infection in the pediatric population were minimal. However, an increasing number of case reports of MIS-C associated with COVID-19/incomplete KD have emerged from various countries in Europe and Asia, and most recently from the United States. The case presented here appears to be the first case reported in Indiana in an older individual (20 years) with rapid improvement after immunomodulating therapy (IVIG). The age of this patient is a reminder for all clinicians caring for COVID-19 patients to be aware of this emergent condition in young adults so as to allow early potentially life-saving therapy.
