In northern Italy, we estimate overall mortality at 3.3% (95%CrI: 2.0-4.7), compared with a crude CFR of 1.3%. The model estimates show a strong age trend in mortality, with a sharp increase in mortality from 50 years old, reaching very high values 5 .
