Characterization of crazy paving sign may be pathologically attributable to partial alveolar filling or collapse, and thickening of interstitial tissues with increased capillary volume [13] . Chung et al. revealed a typical manifestation of COVID-19 of subpleural ground-glass lesions with consolidation [4, 5, 14] , which is consistent with our research.
