Snippet: The pediatric inflammatory multisystem syndrome temporally associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection (PIMS-TS) is a severe complication of Covid-19. Since impaired coagulation, thrombosis/endotheliitis are suspected pathomechanisms, we treated two patients with defibrotide (DF), a pro-fibrinolytic, antithrombotic, anti-inflammatory oligonucleotide. Symptoms resolved during treatment. Moreover, coagulation parameters indicating hypofibrinolysis and complement activation normalized.
