Document: Air pollution has been a widely discussed research topic since the start of the industrial revolution in the 18th century. Today major cities in the world are losing billions of dollars every day due to air pollution. When Covid-19 was labelled as a pandemic and countries were forced to go into lockdown, the entire world came to a standstill and as a consequence of this, air pollution levels fell drastically. Air purity levels were the highest during this period. The analysis of the pollutant level at major cities in India will occur at three stages - during lockdown, pre lockdown and post lockdown and thereafter the prediction of air pollutant levels can be achieved by using the time-series algorithms. © 2021 IEEE.
