Medical treatment with antibiotics and corticosteroids was implemented: the symptoms resolved and no relapse was noted. This case report discuss the pathogenic role of Anaerobiospirillum spp. infection in human and veterinary medicines: the “asymptomatic carriage†concept in evoked; moreover, it shows that make a diagnosis of this infection is difficult in the dog and the need for it to resort to further diagnostic like histological and coprologic analyses; it focuses on the therapy and the data of the medical literature.
