Document: The simulation was constructed with a time step resolution of 10,000 over a period of 130 days. Figure 3 provides an overview of the dynamics of the disease and the effect of potential interventions. From these simulations, we can observe the behavior of the infected populations (symptomatic and asymptomatic), both of which grow rapidly in the first 20 days of simulation time ( Figure 3A ). The symptomatic group peaks first, shortly after which the asymptomatic group rises to a higher value. The decay that is seen in the latter days of the outbreak naturally occurs as the total number of susceptible individuals decreases. Further discussion regarding the long term behavior of the model, as well as the susceptible, recovered and vaccinated populations can be found in the Supplemental Appendix.
