Document: Uterine tumor resembling ovarian sex cord tumor (UTROSCT) is a rare mesenchymal neoplasm, defined as benign tumors with occasional recurrence. In a recent article by Comert et al.[1], gene fusion transcripts were found to enhance the invasive ability of these tumors. A 33-year-old patient presented to our clinic with increased menstrual flow in 2005. The pathology suggested low-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma, revealed by hysteroscopy, which was subsequently treated with abdominal radical hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, and pelvic lymph node dissection. The pathology revealed adenocarcinoma cells and metastasized lymph nodes. Consequently, chemotherapy and radiotherapy were performed 5 and 24 times, respectively.
