Document: Actinomycosis is an inflammatory disease which has many kinds of clinical presentation including inflammation, mass forming form. There are several reports suggesting infiltrative mass like nature of actinomycosis which is misunderstood as tumor. A 39-year old male was found fungating mass like lesion in colonoscopy which was undergone for healthcare screening. Biopsy was done for the lesion and resulted as chronic inflammation. Abdomen CT finding suggested severe edematous changes in the appendix with appendicolith and suspected chronic inflammation and wall thickening of the cecal base but could not definately rule out malignancy. He was performed laparoscopic single port cecectomy according as cecal cancer. Final biopsy showed actinomycosis and he was prescribed with antibiotics and showed no recurrence in follow up CT scan. We present this rare case of mass-like appendiceal actinomycosis treated with single-port laparoscopic method.
