The protection method that is effective is covering with a face mask in the areas where most of the people move around. The important utility is face masks in eliminating the COVID-19. In this paper, deep learning and machine learning are used for the detection of face masks. There are two components in the proposed work. The first one is the extraction of features and the second is the classification process of face masks by using Support Vector Machine (SVM). Real-world Masked Face Datasets (RMFD) have been selected for experimentation.
