Snippet: Descriptive data were presented as means (± standard deviation [SD]) for normally distributed continuous variables and as medians with interquartile range (IQR) for non-normally distributed data. Document: Descriptive data were presented as means (± standard deviation [SD]) for normally distributed continuous variables and as medians with interquartile range (IQR) for non-normally distributed data. Categorical variables were presented as percentages. Two independent samples were tested by T-test; the analysis of variance or Kruskal-Wallis rank sum test was applied for comparison between multiple groups. Proportions for categorical variables were compared using the χ 2 test, although the Fisher exact test was used when data were limited. The Pearson correlation coefficient and Spearman rank correlation coefficient were used for liner correlation analysis. All statistical analysis was performed using SPSS v. 19 .0 (IBM Corp., Armonk, NY, USA). A two-tailed P value <0.05 was considered statistically significant. All rights reserved.
