The NCI-60 cell lines were challenged with FLUAV in multiple independent screens. (A) Cells were inoculated in replicate screens at an MOI of 0.2 with WSN-GFP and permissiveness to infection was determined by flow cytometry. Data for each cell line were normalized to control MDCK cells, paired across replicates, and plotted against each other. Replicate 1 data are those shown in Figure 1B. (B) Permissiveness to WSN-GFP infection at an MOI of 2 was determined relative to MDCK cells. (C-D) The relative infectivity of the cell lines (C) most resistant to and (D) most susceptible to WSN-GFP infection are shown for screens performed at either a low MOI of 0.2 or a high MOI of 2. For all data, mean of n=3 ± SD , rs= Spearman's correlation co-efficient.
