In addition, ambulatory testing was available by appointment with clinician's referral until March 26, 2020, when New York State recommended restricting testing of patients with mild or moderate illness. Outpatient testing of symptomatic or concerned employees has remained available throughout the study period. Repeat testing of negative specimens was conducted at clinician discretion. If testing was repeated and discordant (i.e. negative test followed by a positive test), we used the positive result.
