There were three major findings: First, a history of comorbidities significantly increased the death risk of COVID-19: one additional pre-existing comorbidity led to an estimated 40% increase of death risk (p<0.001). Second, after adjusting for confounders, CHD was the only significant risk factor for COVID-19 mortality.
