Title: Rapid community-driven development of a SARS-CoV-2 tissue simulator Document date: 2020_4_5
ID: lq4tcyh4_82
Snippet: The rapid prototyping approach of this coalition will use a performance-driven agent-based modeling platform 82 to combine detailed intracellular models of viral endocytosis, replication, and exocytosis, disruption of cell processes (e.g. metabolism and compromised membranes) that culminate in cell death, inflammation signaling and immune responses, tissue damage, and other key effects outlined above in a comprehensive, open source simulation pla.....
Document: The rapid prototyping approach of this coalition will use a performance-driven agent-based modeling platform 82 to combine detailed intracellular models of viral endocytosis, replication, and exocytosis, disruption of cell processes (e.g. metabolism and compromised membranes) that culminate in cell death, inflammation signaling and immune responses, tissue damage, and other key effects outlined above in a comprehensive, open source simulation platform. We will deploy and refine interactive, web-hosted versions of the model to critical contributions by virologists, infectious disease modelers, and other domain experts. We will frequently update preprints to foster the fastest possible scientific dialog to iteratively refine this community resource.
