The cell to the right was treated with nocodazole (5 mg/ml) prior to image acquisition. Movies were acquired using a Nikon TE 2000 microscope equipped with Cascade 512B 2 camera at 1 frame per second. The movies were labeled and assembled using imageJ and converted into QuickTime TM movies. All three displayed movies were taking at the same frame rate. The movies show rapid intracellular movement of VI-wt at nearly real-time (left). VI-M1 shows strongly reduced movement (middle).
