In addition, given the multi-differentiation potentials of human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) and hMSCs, our platform with WS and HGPS hPSCs, hMSCs, and their derivatives provides a powerful tool for mechanistic studies and drug screening in various cell types, such as cardiovascular cells that are widely affected in WS and/or HGPS syndromes.
