Document: In the present age, cases of IMI in immunocompromised children affected by hematological malignancies are still associated with high morbidity and mortality. Through our case series we report our real-life experience in treating IMI with CAT at our pediatric center. Given the merely descriptive purpose of our report which lacks a statistical analysis, we are aware that our work will not provide enough evidence for further recommendations about efficacy and safety of CAT in children with hemato-oncological malignancies affected by IMI. However, given the scarcity of data about this topic in the literature together with the rarity of such infections in this patient population yet associated with a severe prognosis, we believe that even isolated experiences from single-center institutions can add useful knowledge to this field.
