Snippet: Genotype frequencies at four loci are shown in Table 3 . A significant difference in the genotype frequencies between SARS patients and controls was found for the +1664 C/T SNPs (P,0.001). The +1664 C/T (CT) and (TT) genotypes were significantly over represented in patients (41.5% and 8.5%, respectively) than in control A group (29.5% and 4.5%, respectively). Document: Genotype frequencies at four loci are shown in Table 3 . Compared to the CC genotype, CT and TT genotypes were found to be associated with increased susceptibility to SARS infection with ORs (95% CI) of 2.09 (1.90-7.16) and 2.34 (1.79-13.37), respectively. The genotype analysis of the +1664 C/ T between SARS patients and control A group yielded different result with those between patients and control B group, when the control B group were compared, no difference of the genotype distribution can be detected. Genotype frequencies of +705 A/G, +1158T/C or +1196 G/C SNPs were not significantly different between SARS patients and each of the two control groups.
