As shown in Table 4 , the frequency of GCCT haplotype in SARS patients (26.6%) was significantly increased when compared to the control A group (11.1%), but when compared to the control B group, the proportions of this haplotype in the two groups were not different (26.6% in SARS patients vs. 22 .3% in controls).
