In the stratified analysis, the same risk factors, including age quartile, household size, and month of enrollment, were found to be risk factors for RSV-A infection. We speculate that the high OR (5.4; 95% CI, 1.8-16.9) observed for the association between cat exposure and IBV (see Supplementary Table 7) may have occurred by chance.
