A simulated smoke video combining two smoke experiments. This simulation is prepared by using the method of isosurfaces as detailed in the text. It combines two separate smoke experiments by using two passive scalars, originally dosed into different rooms. The smoke escaping from the isolation room is illuminated by white light, while the smoke going the other way (into the isolation room) is illuminated by yellow light. (MP4) S3 Video. Experimental vs simulated smoke visualization as seen from above the isolation room. This combined video offers an opportunity to compare a real (left) and simulated (right) smoke video.
