Various viral diseases are caused by infection with pathogenic viruses. For instance, Ebola virus disease is a highly contagious and fatal disease caused by infection with Ebola virus. During the 2014 Ebola epidemic, the world witnessed over 28,000 cases and over 11,000 deaths [1] . So far, there is no specific vaccine or effective treatment for Ebola virus disease [2] . Despite the increased number of known virus-host PPIs, viral infection mechanism is not fully understood.
