Coste et al. demonstrated that nasal immunization of mice with purified TLPs assembled in insect cells and comprising VP2, VP6, and VP7 triggered high milk and serum antibody titers. Furthermore, milk but not serum antibodies were associated to the protection of suckling mice and that antibodies to VP7 played a crucial role [27] .
