Snippet: For HAdV generic PCR-positive samples, the highly variable regions of hexon gene and entire fiber gene were PCR amplified from viral DNA and then sequenced as previously described. 14, 15 Genomic sequences were assembled using CLC genomic workbench 5.1 (CLC bio, Aarhus, Denmark). Previously published GenBank sequences of HAdV, including HAdV-1, HAdV-3, HAdV-11, HAdV-14, HAdV-21, and HAdV-55, were used for comparison and determination of the HAdV .....
Document: For HAdV generic PCR-positive samples, the highly variable regions of hexon gene and entire fiber gene were PCR amplified from viral DNA and then sequenced as previously described. 14, 15 Genomic sequences were assembled using CLC genomic workbench 5.1 (CLC bio, Aarhus, Denmark). Previously published GenBank sequences of HAdV, including HAdV-1, HAdV-3, HAdV-11, HAdV-14, HAdV-21, and HAdV-55, were used for comparison and determination of the HAdV genotypes. All comparison alignments were performed, and phylogenetic tree was constructed by neighbor-joining method with 1000 bootstrap replicates using CLC genomic workbench 5.1. Similarities between strains were calculated using BioEdit, version 7.13 (North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, USA; www.mbio.ncsu.eud/ bioedit/bioedit.html).
