In general, 30 µM N-peptide N36 (synthesized by Beijing Scilight Biotechnology Ltd., Beijing, China) was incubated with different concentration of PT-1 at 37 • C for 30 min, then 40 µM C34 peptide was added for another 30 min of incubation, and the samples were mixed with Tris-glycine native sample buffer and loaded onto 18% Tris-glycine gel for electrophoresis at 120 V constant voltage. After 90 min electrophoresis, the gel was stained with Coomassie Blue dyes and imaged with Bio-Rad Gel Doc XR + Imaging System (Bio-Rad, Hercules, CA, USA). AZT was used as a negative control.
