However, it is unlikely that absolute humidity significantly affects the results. In fact, absolute humidity does not seem to play any major role in the transmission rates of the COVID-19 25 . Moreover, absolute humidity and temperature are usually highly correlated, and it is thus unlikely that humidity may play a major role in explaining the spread of the COVID-19 if the temperature does not.
