CNS manifestations can range from a mild febrile illness with mental status changes to more severe manifestations including coma and death. Meningoencephalitis is the most common CNS Listeria infection, with less common complications including ventriculitis, rhomboencephalitis, hemorrhage, and hydrocephalus [2] .
