The respiratory virus PCR multiplex panel was used to test for influenza A and B viruses, RSV, HMPV, HPIV, HRhV, and HAdV. Influenza-specific reverse transcription PCR was used to detect the influenza A (H1N1) during the 2009 H1N1 pandemic.
